Although I obviously had some expectations about this seminar by offering 100 bidding points, the bad experience of Handlungskompetenz still remained in my mind.
So I decided it’s better to just do my job well.
When I stepped into the seminar room, a nice looking, smiling lady came and shaked hands with me, and it turned out that she is the professor. What a surprise!!! Her easy-going attitude motivated me immediately. Yes, I’m a kind of person who can be influenced by emotional elements. Anyhow, that was a brilliant start.
Despite the unsatisfying attendance (7 out 23) the atmosphere was quite relaxing. The following hour was the normal procedure to introduce administrative issues and QA with a brief introduction to the KM world
I started using internet and computer in 1999 when I began my studies in Beijing. In the first years it took me half an hour to type a short email. But last year I created my first professional Website for an institute (with FrontPage). What an amazing development.
To an outsider, the IT world looks like a wonderland, especially with the rapid expansion of the Internet, the accumulated knowledge/information multiplies in an incredible pace.
Therefore, being among the huge and rising population living in an information-internet society where everyone is faced with a number of vital choices, I believe that one either tries to catch up with the whole process or one drops it entirely.

Please, now that you have such a good start (posting and reflecting about your personal experience), read the file where I give you hints how to perform well regarding this assignment (which means how you can take out the most for your learning experience), and then just do it!
